Education in the forefront
ELMO Certificate
In a world where everyone thinks to know everything about the healthy lifestyle, ELMO together with the Belgian Lifestyle Medicine Organisation (BELMO) offer an evidence based online program with the support of the European lifestyle medicine representatives. The ELMO certificate is addressed this year to sport/fitness/healthy lifestyle instructors who would like to develop and monitor a healthy lifestyle trajectory for their patients and sport practitioners. The exam, which will take place in Rome, on November 8th , 2019 during the ELMO Congress, will certify that graduated students master the lifestyle medicine principles and apply them in their practice.
ELMO is pleased with the response rate in the application process and we look forward to proudly announcing the first certified professionals in Rome next November!

ELMO is delighted to announce its partnership with the University of Split Medical School. This partnership is one more step towards accomplishing ELMO’s ultimate goal to reduce the burden of lifestyle-related / non-communicable diseases globally by supporting, among others, optimal learning and knowledge sharing opportunities.

1st Active and Healthy Workplaces Conference
ELMO proudly announces its auspices to the 1st Active and Healthy Workplaces Conference that will take place on June 16-17, 2020 in Athens, Greece. The Conference, organized on the eve of the World Company Sport Games of Athens, will focus on the benefits of maintaining a healthy lifestyle within the workplace. ELMO will have a 2-hour dedicated session within the main Conference program, on June 16th titled “Research, prevention and treatment of lifestyle-related diseases through nutrition, physical activity, psychology and public health”. ELMO Vice President, Dr. Ioannis Arkadianos is the Co-Chair of the Conference and member of the Program Committee. 14th National Congress on Obesity
ELMO grants its auspices to the 14th National Congress on Obesity organized by the Hellenic Medical Association for Obesity in Athens, on 27-29 February 2020.
The congress will address all major issues and up-to-date information on obesity and related disorders through a highly anticipated scientific programme consisting of lectures, round tables and satellite meetings. |

All roads lead to Lifestyle Medicine and we encourage you to register now and reserve your place in this premier meeting of our Society, addressing all the key issues such as Nutrition, Education, Physical Activity, Community well-being and the clinical applications of Lifestyle Medicine.
