Vicky Kolovou

Dr. Kolovou Vasiliki is an interim Professor of Nursing and Health Care in the Hannover University of Applied Sciences and Arts teaching health promotion and disease prevention, body theory and methods for qualitative research. She holds a PhD in Sociology from Warwick University and a Master of Public Health from Bielefeld University. She has worked with World Health Organization on various projects related to obesity prevention in communities. Her research interests are in the field of evaluation of public health interventions, obesity prevention and promotion of healthy lifestyles in various settings. Being a nationally competitive marathon athlete herself for more than two decades, she is active in health coaching and running training programs.
