New ELMO Country Representative in Switzerland and Cyprus!

We are excited to announce ELMO’s new country representative in Switzerland and Cyprus Dr. Chris Bachtsetzis.

Coming from a diverse academic background focusing on all areas of healthcare and medicine and having gathered in the past 20 years valuable international professional experiences serving at various positions such as Clinic Manager and Surgical Coordinator, as a Researcher in Risk Assessment and Health & Safety in Research programsfunded by the European Union, as Healthcare Advisor for the Department of Health and Social Care, Ministry of Healthin the UK, as well as a Medical Doctor in Surgery and General Medicine. In parallel I applied my entrepreneurial skills and ambition having established a Medical Company at the end of 2016 in Cyprus which has been sold in 2021 to the biggest company with medical and surgical equipment in the country.

Throughout my working years I understood that it is more important for me to try to prevent or delay the onset of many illnesses and chronic diseases instead of trying to treat or manage them when it is too late. As such, I have placed my medical interest on Lifestyle Medicine and I have gathered extensive experience working with leading, international Health Wellness organizations and Medical Centers in Switzerland. Having served in the world famous Chenot® Group and the most exclusive private treatment center The Kusnacht Practice AG in Switzerland, in a variety of positions, such as Consultant Doctor, Wellness Coach and Doctor in Integrative and Lifestyle Medicine, I was focused on Preventive Medicine, Medical Wellness and Human Performance optimization through exercise and nutrition, gut health, orthomolecular medicine and overall vitality.

Currently we have opened our Longevity Center Switzerland in Zürich in January 2025, part of the Longevity Center Europe, where I hold the position of the Longevity Doctor, promoting healthy-aging, health optimization and an improved health span using evidence-based medicine.
