Vasiliki Andreou

Dr. Vasiliki Andreou is a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Medical Education Research Rotterdam at Erasmus Medical Center, in the Netherlands. She holds a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from KU Leuven (Belgium) and a background in Educational Sciences. Her research focuses on advancing assessment and feedback practices, and embedding equity, diversity, and inclusion within education of healthcare professionals. Vasiliki’s work centres on developing the competencies needed for future healthcare professionals to deliver person-centred, holistic, and preventive care. She has been involved in international research collaborations, curriculum design initiatives, and educator development programs. Passionate about meaningful learning and mentoring, she strives to empower both learners and teachers to engage in transformative education that supports healthier societies.
